Something that challenged me was doing the fear factor food challenge because Mrs Hill made seem like it was something that tasted yuck  but most of the time it was yum . Something I enjoyed was going down the water slide because when you got soaped you went really fast and its fun getting to the end because you got all muddy and you got a lolly pop when your body got to the end of the water slide. My biggest achievement would probably be going to sleep at camp Weka because everyone was loud as could be but I did it which is a relief. My best highlight form camp has to playing in the bamboo forest because it was fun to explore around all the bamboo and go in the really coll huts some people made. The worst thing about camp was probably all the rain that came with us to camp  because it stopped us doing some of our activities we were going to do but we still had a great time.

The Trapdoor

Ring ring ring ring I pushed the rusty old doorbell on my aunt's wide  dusty old front double door.She lives in a huge 6 storie old creepy mansion in death valley America I was with her for 2 weeks because my mum and dad were out in hollywood going to a red carpet marathon.

Any way I walked into my aunt’s mansion She came walking down the stairs to the front door and said

hello Ben  would you Like me to take  your bags to your

room  Ben, Yes  please I said. Oh and Your Bedroom is

Upstairs 3rd room to the left. Ok  said  Ben. Strolling  Upstairs  into my room.   opening the door to  my room I walked in  and something caught My eye there was a Loose bit of Carpet at the end of the room. I  creeped over  to the end of the room to investigate I pulled the loose bit of carpet up and there was a bit of wood under there with a small bronze rusty  handle attached to it. I carefully opened  the trapdoor. Peering down into the deep dark casym. there was a slide going down the massive casym I said to myself should I go down the slide or should I  not ? Um I will go down it so I sped down the slide to the bottom of the trapdoor and there was a shining sword made out of diamonds. Picking the sword up it started to glow so then I swung it at a rock on the ground and it cut right through the middle, cool I said I walked forward some more and I could hear trees rustling in the distance and then I saw  a door and I opened the door and was astonished Kapiti island I walked through the door and I was in one of the Waikanai tunnels and I could hear   coming from the other side so I walked further into the tunnel and there was a tunnel on the side . Walking through the other tunnel I saw Ngahere and his cousin conrad and he said to me what are you doing here he said um I, let's just say I walked through a magical door and ended up here. That same thing happened to me Ngahere said. Man where did you get that sweet diamond sword Conrad said. I got it from my aunt's house but then something let out a humongous roar!!!, wha wha what was that Conrad said I don’t no I said I think I know what it is ngahere said What is it me and Conrad said said it’s the Taniwha of Waikanai beach said Ngahere . The what what what what what I said The Taniwha of Waikanai beach Ngahere repeated. What!!! I said a Taniwha here like right now. Yes said Ngahere wait a minute how do you know  it’s a Taniwha said Conrad, Um my dad told me a legend when I was 4 about a taniwha on Kapiti island it's just a guess  it might just be a magical lion or something since this is a magical place right said Ngahere, um yeah I said. anyway we need to get out of these tunnels before the thing gets in and eats us I said, Ngahere do you know the way out I said yes this way Ngahere said okay follow  Ngahere out and then we will try and kill it Conrad said with what I said  With that sweet diamond sword of your’s stupid said Ngahere oh yeah I said let's go I said  we ran for about ten minutes and then we found the exit we exited the tunnels and there was the the taniwha waiting for us… “What do we do I said” “don’t move it has the sight of a T-rex so it can only see sudden movements but  then conrad tripped over my foot and the taniwha ran at us and then I stabbed in the heart with my diamond sword and then I felt dizzy and then whoosh I was back in my bedroom at my aunt's house and there was the diamond sword sitting at the end of the bed.

How to make footprint art. (foot art)

Step 1 look for an inspiration for your footprint art.

Step 2 plan your artwork on A-3 piece of paper.

Step 3 create a background for your artwork.

Step 4 paint your foot and and put it on your background.

Step 5 draw all your details.

Step 6 enjoy your footprint art.

Success Criteria:

1. I plan for the writing task
2. I write sentences that make sense
3. I have colour, taste, smell, look, sound and feel each on a new line.
4. I use specific words in the poem.
5. I attempt to write words I don’t know by using my sound/letter knowledge or a dictionary.
6. I use commas, exclamation marks, capital letters and full stops correctly.
7. I will present my poem on an A4 paper from the tote tray.  I need to think about making sure the reader will be able read my writing.

                                                   Anger is hot red.

                                           It tastes like spicy red chillies..

                                          It smells like fire burning wood.

                                 Anger looks like bombs exploding on your face.

                                It feels like you are transforming into the hulk.                     

                               It sounds like lions roaring in your head.

                                                                         

                                               Anger stresses me out.

Rollerblade Hockey.

Rollerblade hockey is basically hockey with roller blades on but the difference is that you can golf swing the stick,
You use a puck and not a ball, and the stick doesn't have to be up to your belly button, it has to be up to your chin.
